GUIDELINES*

*Please see "Program Areas" for more information on our guidelines

Grant Duration – The duration of Northwest Fund grants is 18 months. The Foundation requires grantees to propose a scope of work lasting up to 18 months, complete the entire 18 month grant period, and submit a final report prior to applying for a new grant. This means that grant recipients may no longer apply on an annual basis. For example, 2005 award recipients may not reapply until 2007.

Grant Award Limits –  Our grant awards range from $1,000 to $40,000.

If you are interested in learning more about the internal restructuring of the Foundation’s grantmaking process in 2004, please see the 2004 President's Message.
